Save this for your trip!

1. Get there:
• Hop on a boat from anywhere on Koh Tao.
• We paid 600 baht round trip for two people.

2. Entrance & water rules:
• Entrance fee is 250 baht per person.
• No plastic bottles allowed!
• Bring your own reusable bottle or buy a glass bottle for 40 baht (no refill stations).

3. The hike:
• Walk along the boardwalk, then up the stairs — about 20 minutes from the entrance.
• Arrive early! We got there at 10:30 AM and waited 5 minutes for a photo. Later, the queue was 30–45 minutes!

Once you’re up there… just enjoy the epic view!

We had an amazing day celebrating Songkran—and it was so much more than just a water fight. Travelers and locals, young and old, all came together in such good spirits to welcome the Thai New Year.

Traditionally, water is used to wash away the misfortunes of the past year, making room for renewal, respect, and blessings. Families reunite, temples are visited, and elders are gently honored with water in a show of deep respect.

The energy was beautiful—full of joy, connection, and fresh beginnings. Getting soaked was just part of the fun, but the meaning behind it all runs much deeper.
